A coat of flour and some extra spices to kick that recipe up a notch.
You will need three bowls of ingredients, 6 Chicken breasts, and 1/2 stick of butter melted.
Bowl #1:
- 1 Egg
- 1/2 Cup Milk
- 1/2 Teaspoon Black Ground Pepper
- 1/2 Teaspoon Sea Salt
- 1/2 Teaspoon Garlic Powder
- 1 Teaspoon Garlic puree (if you have it)
- 1 Cup flour (white-whole wheat)
- 1 Teaspoon Cayenne pepper (optional)
- 1/2 Teaspoon Garlic Powder
- 1/2 Teaspoon Onion Powder
- 1-2 Cups Kellogg's Corn Flakes crushed
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Line baking sheet with foil and set aside.
Take your chicken breasts and dip them in bowl #1, then bowl #2 (lightly coating with flour mixture), then back in bowl #1, and for the final coating in bowl #3. Continue this with each chicken breast and place on baking sheet.
Pour melted butter over coated chicken breasts and then sprinkle the tops with a pinch of sea salt and black pepper.
Bake chicken for 30 minutes and serve with the side dishes of your choice. Or you can serve it on top of a salad.
