What you'll need:
- 1 Tube 8 oz. Crescents
- 1 Package 8 oz. Reduced Fat Cream Cheese
- 2 Fresh JalapeƱos chopped finely- you can leave the seeds in, take some out, or take them all out. Your call.
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon sea salt
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Garlic and Parsley salt for sprinkling (optional)
- Flour for sprinkling on cutting board
- 1/2 cup shredded cheese (optional)
- 1/2 cup bacon bits (optional)
Preheat oven to 375 Degrees.
Sprinkle flour onto your cutting board. Roll out your can of crescents on the cutting board (or you can just use wax paper to roll them out (that is what I did).
Split them into two equal parts. Each Section should have four triangles (forming two separate rectangles). Take a rolling pin and flatten out each of the two sections so that it's smooth. Should look similar to the photo below.
Now for the filling. In a medium bowl, combine cream cheese, jalapenos, garlic powder, salt, and onion powder. you can also add in shredded cheese and bacon bits for more flavor. Take a spatula and spread the mixture out evenly across the crescent dough. (The mixture should be the perfect amount to coat completely).
Roll each section up and cut into 1 inch segments.
Place on baking pan and sprinkle the garlic/ parsley mixture on top. Bake at 375 Degrees for 15 Minutes (until golden brown).
