Mini pizzas- fun for the whole family. These are incredibly easy to make and fun to eat. They work for dinner, for appetizers, or for parties.
My pizzas were healthier, but you can also do pepperoni, bacon, sausage, margherita etc.
For the dough you will need Rhodes Rolls (the thaw, rise, and bake kind, 12 count).
Tomato Sauce:
1 8oz can of (no salt added) tomato sauce
1/2 Teaspoon Oregano
1/2 Teaspoon Basil
1/2 Teaspoon Garlic Powder
1/2 Teaspoon Sea Salt
1/2 Teaspoon
1 16oz package of any shredded cheese of your choosing (Italian blend and pizza blend work best)
1 Package Rhodes Rolls (12 count)
1 Tablespoon Garlic salt for sprinkling on rolls
Olive Oil for drizzling
1/2 Teaspoon Basil
1/2 Teaspoon Garlic Powder
1/2 Teaspoon Sea Salt
1/2 Teaspoon
1 16oz package of any shredded cheese of your choosing (Italian blend and pizza blend work best)
1 Package Rhodes Rolls (12 count)
1 Tablespoon Garlic salt for sprinkling on rolls
Olive Oil for drizzling
Tear off one decent sized piece of foil (to fit all 12 mini pizzas) or divide into two batches. Drizzle foil with olive oil and place rolls on foil. Let thaw for 1-2 hours. Once thawed enough, press down into circles and drizzle olive oil on top, then sprinkle with garlic salt (or garlic powder and sea salt). Preheat oven to 400 Degrees.
Now Toppings: (top each pizza with an Italian or pizza blend shredded cheese)
My Pizza- Veggies- broccoli, sauteed or grilled eggplant, and sauteed onions.
Pepperoni/ Sausage Pizza- a couple of pepperonis on each with some cooked regular or chicken sausage crumbles.
Spinach Ricotta- one tablespoon of ricotta cheese (mix garlic and salt in with ricotta) on each and fresh spinach.
Margherita Pizza- use a few tiny mozzarella balls on each with sliced fresh basil and crushed garlic
Add the toppings of your choice and a generous amount of cheese on each. Then bake for 15 minutes. Let cool and enjoy!
