*Note, I would roll out the pizza dough more than I did, it fluffs up quite a bit when you bake it. You can also make miniature roll ups by cutting the dough vertically in half then slicing 6 horizontal rows. This would make 12 roll ups instead of 6.
Servings: 6
You will need:
1 Artisan Pizza Crust by Pillsbury
1/3 bag of Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
1/3 bag of Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese
Chopped fresh basil to spring under cheese (amount is left to your discretion)
1 large vine tomato chopped finely
Sauce:
2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
1 Tablespoon Alessi Garlic Puree (or 3-4 cloves garlic pressed)
1 Tablespoon Parmesan Cheese
1 Teaspoon Basil
1 Teaspoon Italian Seasoning
1 Teaspoon Sea Salt
1 Teaspoon Black Pepper
Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Place parchment paper on baking sheet.
Roll out the pizza dough on a cutting board.
Mix all the sauce ingredients together in a small bowl. Use a baster brush to spread the sauce across the pizza dough. Coat the entire crust.
Now place tomatoes and basil across the top. Top with cheeses evenly.
Cut (horizontal) 6 even slices. roll up from bottom to top and press the end of the dough against the side (so the roll up stays together). Place on baking sheet and bake for 14-16 minutes.
Let cool for a few minutes and enjoy!
