This is a three step process...
Step 1: Form the meatballs.
- 16-20oz package of lean ground turkey or lean ground beef (I like to use turkey)
- 1/4 cup Italian bread crumbs
- 1/4 cups oats
- 1/2 cup chopped onions
- 3 Tablespoons Worcestershire Sauce
- 1 1/2 Teaspoon Garlic Powder
- 1 Teaspoon Sea Salt
- 1 Teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1/2 Teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2-1 Teaspoon Cayenne Pepper
Mix together and form into 1 inch meat balls. Set aside and heat up a skillet with olive oil to coat the bottom. Begin to cook on medium heat until brown on
Step 2: Make the Squash.
- Three good sized Zucchini julienne sliced (shown above)
- 3 Tablespoons olive oil
- 1/2 Teaspoon Rosemary
- 1 Teaspoon Italian Seasoning
- 1/2 Teaspoon Garlic Powder
- 1/2 Teaspoon Onion Powder
- 1/2 Teaspoon Sea Salt
Place in bowl and stir with olive oil and seasoning to coat. Sautée in skillet on medium heat.
Step 3: Pasta and Sauce.
Boil your spaghetti, I like using whole grain. Then you can either make your own sauce or be lazy like me and buy a good sauce.
Put some veggies and meat balls on top of your pasta and sauce and you're ready to eat!
